As part of our commitment to providing an educational and working environment free from sexual misconduct, The University of Texas at Austin is implementing a revised policy on the Prohibition of Sexual Assault, Interpersonal Violence, Stalking, Sexual Harassment, and Sex Discrimination.

Husch Blackwell Update - July 8

Since March, Husch Blackwell has been conducting the second phase of its review, and members of the firm recently presented me with a list of additional recommendations. As part of this second phase, Husch Blackwell took a deeper look at peer institution Title IX organizational structure and program management. I have reviewed the latest proposal and will accept Husch Blackwell’s recommendations, which will result in a structural reorganization of UT’s Title IX operations so that they are more effective, efficient and better serve our community.

Changing Sexual Misconduct Policies at UT Austin

During the past four months, representatives from the Husch Blackwell firm met with UT Austin students, staff members and faculty members and led a comprehensive review of the university’s sexual misconduct policies. The first phase of the review is now complete.

Husch Blackwell Listening Session for Faculty
