Dear community members,
Today, we held our first planning meeting for the upcoming student-led forum on misconduct policies and practices to be held on Monday, Jan. 27. This was a productive meeting that established two subcommittees to plan the following for the upcoming forum:
This subcommittee will work on finalizing the format of the event, including location, logistics around AV needs and process to receive questions in advance for the moderator(s) to share with the panel. The panel will include the president, provost, Dr. Leonard Moore, and Dr. Soncia Regains-Lilly.
Forum agenda and timeline will be formalized.
The consensus on the call was that the target audience of the event should be mainly undergraduate and graduate students. The subcommittee will continue to consider this.
Marketing and Communications
This subcommittee will draft event details to be shared with undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. The group will consider the best communications channels to reach undergraduate and graduate students.
Both committees will meet again next week to finalize forum details.
